# Autzu

> Autzu builds autonomous infrastructure for autonomous operators — robotaxi hubs, fleet operations software, and energy systems that power the deployment and operation of autonomous mobility at scale.

Autzu, Inc. is a US/Canada-based company founded in 2017 and headquartered in San Francisco, CA. The company operates physical hubs in San Francisco and Toronto today, launching in New York, with London, Dubai, Singapore, and Perth on the horizon. Autzu also runs the Uber EV rental program — drivers rent a Tesla Model 3 by the hour to drive on Uber.

The Autzu platform has three layers:
1. **Hubs** — physical Giga Hubs purpose-built for AV fleet operations (charging, robotic cleaning, sensor calibration, diagnostics, real estate).
2. **Platform / Operating Layer** — software for autonomous operators to dispatch, monitor, and scale fleets, plus integrations across the AV stack (vehicle telemetry, energy/grid APIs, mobility networks).
3. **Operations** — 24/7 service of fleets at the hubs themselves.

The Uber EV program is hourly rental only ($7/hour, bookings from 4 to 16 hours). Today Uber is the only platform integrated with the Autzu app; other platforms (Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart) are permitted but driver-managed. Autzu does not guarantee or monitor driver earnings — payouts are set by the platform and the driver's own activity.
