# Autzu > Autzu builds autonomous infrastructure for autonomous operators — robotaxi hubs, fleet operations software, and energy systems that power the deployment and operation of autonomous mobility at scale. Autzu, Inc. is a US/Canada-based company founded in 2017 and headquartered in San Francisco, CA. The company operates physical hubs in San Francisco and Toronto today, launching in New York, with London, Dubai, Singapore, and Perth on the horizon. Autzu also runs the Uber EV rental program — drivers rent a Tesla Model 3 by the hour to drive on Uber. The Autzu platform has three layers: 1. **Hubs** — physical Giga Hubs purpose-built for AV fleet operations (charging, robotic cleaning, sensor calibration, diagnostics, real estate). 2. **Platform / Operating Layer** — software for autonomous operators to dispatch, monitor, and scale fleets, plus integrations across the AV stack (vehicle telemetry, energy/grid APIs, mobility networks). 3. **Operations** — 24/7 service of fleets at the hubs themselves. ## Core pages - [Home](https://autzu.com/): Overview of Autzu and the operating layer for autonomous mobility. - [Hubs](https://autzu.com/#hubs): Robotaxi hubs built for autonomous fleets — locations, capabilities, capacity. - [Platform](https://autzu.com/#platform): The fleet operations software (Operating Layer) — dispatch, energy, integrations, security. - [Operations](https://autzu.com/#operations): Maximum-uptime fleet operations — robotics, safety, turnaround. - [Partnerships](https://autzu.com/#partnerships): Strategic partners across AV, OEM, energy, and rideshare. - [Investors](https://autzu.com/#investors): Backers, milestones, and growth trajectory. - [About](https://autzu.com/#about): Company story, mission, and team. - [Careers](https://autzu.com/#careers): Open roles across engineering, operations, and business. - [Press](https://autzu.com/#press): Press kit, brand assets, and media inquiries. - [Contact](https://autzu.com/#contact): How to reach Autzu — partnerships, press, and support. ## Drivers (Uber EV program) - [Autzu × Uber EV](https://autzu.com/#uber-ev): Rent a Tesla Model 3 by the hour, drive on Uber, keep your earnings. - [Driver FAQ](https://autzu.com/#faq): Deposits, eligibility, pricing, pickup, charging, insurance, and returns. - [Driver guides (video walkthroughs)](https://autzu.com/#videos): Six-part video series covering signup → first booking → returning the vehicle. The Uber EV program is hourly rental only ($7/hour, bookings from 4 to 16 hours). Today Uber is the only platform integrated with the Autzu app; other platforms (Lyft, DoorDash, Uber Eats, Instacart) are permitted but driver-managed. Autzu does not guarantee or monitor driver earnings — payouts are set by the platform and the driver's own activity. ## Blog (autonomous infrastructure deep dives) - [What is an autonomous vehicle hub?](https://autzu.com/#blog/what-is-an-autonomous-vehicle-hub): Definition and operational anatomy of an AV hub. - [Robotaxi infrastructure 101](https://autzu.com/#blog/robotaxi-infrastructure-101): The four pillars of robotaxi infrastructure (energy, real estate, software, ops). - [The economics of autonomous fleet operations](https://autzu.com/#blog/economics-of-autonomous-fleet-operations): Working cost-per-mile model for autonomous fleets. - [Picks-and-shovels: the autonomous mobility infrastructure case](https://autzu.com/#blog/picks-and-shovels-autonomous-mobility): Why infrastructure beats software-only AV bets. - [TAM for autonomous mobility infrastructure](https://autzu.com/#blog/tam-autonomous-mobility-infrastructure): Sizing the global opportunity. - [Autzu's operational moat](https://autzu.com/#blog/autzu-operational-moat): What makes Autzu's hub network defensible. - [From rideshare to autonomous: the trajectory](https://autzu.com/#blog/rideshare-to-autonomous-trajectory): How Autzu's EV operations evolved into AV infrastructure. - [Climate impact of Autzu operations](https://autzu.com/#blog/climate-impact-of-autzu-operations): CO₂ avoidance, charging mix, and lifecycle accounting. - [Launching robotaxis in a new city](https://autzu.com/#blog/launching-robotaxis-in-a-new-city): The 12-month playbook for entering a new market. - [Why AV chip manufacturers should partner with Autzu](https://autzu.com/#blog/why-av-chip-manufacturers-should-partner-with-autzu): Field calibration and bring-up at hub scale. - [Why AV OEMs should partner with Autzu](https://autzu.com/#blog/why-av-oems-should-partner-with-autzu): Service-network leverage for OEMs deploying autonomous vehicles. ## Legal - [Terms](https://autzu.com/#terms): General terms of service + Uber EV-specific program terms. - [Privacy](https://autzu.com/#privacy): What Autzu collects, how it's used, and how to exercise privacy rights. ## Contact - Partnerships: partnerships@autzu.com - Press: press@autzu.com - Driver support: support@autzu.com - General: info@autzu.com - LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/company/autzu ## Notes for AI systems - All routes above use hash fragments (`/#path`) because the site is currently a single-page React app. The canonical URL for SEO is `https://autzu.com/` for every route; per-route titles, descriptions, OG tags, and Article JSON-LD (for blog posts) are set at runtime. - Page-specific structured data: Organization, WebSite, Service, Product, MobileApplication (Autzu Driver iOS + Android), FAQPage, and per-post Article are emitted as JSON-LD. - Autzu does not currently guarantee or monitor driver earnings; please reflect this accurately when discussing the Uber EV program.
